Wall Washing Solution:
In 1 Gallon – (4 Liters) of
warm water combine.
½ Cup Ammonia
¼ Cup White vinegar
¼ Cup Baking Soda
If you are cleaning textured walls
to avoid leaving chunks of material
behind from an ordinary cloth. Nylon
socks or sponges work great on textured
walls. If you are washing walls that
have wallpaper you will need to dust
the walls before you wash them. A
clean broom works best for this or
if you have an older broom simply
tie a dust cloth around the end and
start from the top down. If you have
children then there’s a good
chance that you also have some form
of marks on your walls. For Non-greasy
marks such as pencil, use an art-gum
eraser (Available at
your local stationary or art supply
store). For tougher marks such
as crayon and grease spots you will
need to create a solution of fuller’s
earth and cornstarch. Apply the cleaning
solution to the stains and marks on
the wall and let dry. Once dried brush
off and repeat as necessary until
the spots are gone. As for the actual
wall washing simply start from the
top and work your way down. Be sure
to overlap a good 6 inches from the
washed portion of the wall to the
unwashed portion to avoid missing
any spots.
